Although it is a city entity, Summit Arts receives no funding from the City of Summit for acquisitions or operations. It raises money through personal and corporate donations and public and private grants. As of the end of 2007, Summit Arts had raised more than $105,000 to support its projects. Summit’s department of community services provides staff support.
All donations are made to, and administered by, the Summit Area Public Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation.
